Ryan joined Runway Growth Capital in 2025 as Managing Director, Technology.

Ryan has nearly two decades of experience across growth debt, venture debt, and investment banking.  In this time, he has worked with companies across a broad range of technology verticals, stages, and ownership structures.

Prior to Runway, Ryan was Managing Director at Capital Advisors Group where he led the firm’s west coast debt advisory practice.  In this role, Ryan advised high-growth technology and healthcare companies on sourcing and structuring senior, subordinated, and venture debt financings.  Previously, he held roles at TriplePoint Capital, Headwaters MB, and Rutberg & Company, where he gained extensive experience advising and making debt investments in companies across the technology, media, and telecom sectors.

Ryan holds an MBA and an MSF from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, as well as a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Hamilton College.
